Not good...
Dr. just called ... bad news. AFP is abnormal - indicates there is something wrong with baby girl.
Absolutely devastated.
Waiting on call from high risk dr to schedule appt.
AFP is a screening test. It only indicates that there could potentially be problems, not that there is something wrong. It just tells you that you may have to do specific diagnostic tests to find out more. Also, you may get abnormal results if there pregnancy dating is off. I know you and hubby must be so so scared. But my heart says its just a false alarm and all is well. Praying praying praying for baby girl.
